Collection: Salomon
Salomon was founded in 1947 in France, first as a manufacturer developing ski edges. The company went on to develop skis, ski bindings, and ski boots, which ultimately was a catalyst for their introduction of footwear in the 90s. Early Salomon footwear of the mid to late 90s took direct influence from their line of ski boots, from shape to materiality and features. After the 2000s, Salomon began to expand their footwear offering greatly due to greater demand and a broader market interest. In the years following, the brand moved away from exclusively boot models into sneakers and hiking shoes. Our comprehensive collection features models from the mid 90s through the early 2010s. This period for Salomon demonstrated many iterations and experiments within their product line, and offers a look into the history of one of today's premier footwear companies.
