Issey Miyake

Issey Miyake opened his Tokyo design studio in 1970, where he established himself as the remarkably innovative and awe-inspiring designer we know today. Our favorites from his early work demonstrates his eclectic influence and inspiration, pulling references from military apparel, eastern silhouettes, various dying techniques and interesting fabrication blends. Naoki Takizawa took over menswear design in 1994 and built upon Issey's original design language in a modern and ultra-utilitarian fashion. Notable Issey Miyake 80s silhouettes were updated with new fabrics and greater technology to usher them and the brand into the 21st century. We focus on providing a wide array of products that both designers created during  their tenure with the brands menswear department. We believe the products they created are hands down some of the best and most wearable products you can find on the marketplace today.
